There are a lot of location recording companies who offer high end services but don’t really know how to achieve the high standards required – they may turn up to your performance with just a laptop and a couple of cheap microphones, or take a direct feed straight from the FOH console; relying on the venues microphones and pre-amps, and at the mercy of the gain structure provided by the live engineer.
We offer some of the best microphones and pre-amps on the market and can take splits from the on stage microphones, which allows us to control our levels independently and without affecting the live engineer. We have a range of recording systems including Pro tools and Hard Disc Recorders, and also offer a backup system running in parallel to ensure that nothing is lost in the very rare event that one system fails.
